3D TV teaser at the Waterside centre

Third dimension: A demonstration of 3D TV technology is making it’s way to Lincoln.

A 3D TV roadshow will be coming to Lincoln’s Waterside Shopping Centre later this month. The roadshow will offer Lincolnites an opportunity to get a full run-down of how the HD 3D sets work, next to trying the technology with the help of trained staff.

Panasonic will be hosting a three-day demonstration of their 3D TV range as part of their 3D roadshow, with the event stopping in the city centre at the Waterside Shopping Centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of May.

With the rising popularity of 3D films at the cinema, including the likes of James Cameron’s Avatar, it was only a matter of time before 3D TV technology arrived in the home. Several 3D HDTV’s are now available to buy from UK retailers, including models from both Panasonic and Samsung.

For those wanting to sample the technology before taking the jump into the third dimension, the upcoming demonstration should show what 3D TVs can offer.
