Contemporary craft stalls come to Lincoln

Quirky craft: Bailgate will be full of contemporary craft stalls at an event in the County Assembly Rooms this month.

For those with creative style looking for something to do this weekend, there will be a contemporary craft event on Sunday, July 11, just for you.

The family friendly event Arts and Crafts for Summer will be bringing 40 of the region’s artists and craft makers to the County Assembly Rooms (Bailgate).

Among the 40 are Modern Design graduates from the University of Lincoln, and Magpie Accessories from Sheffield, who use ethically sourced British leather.

Also present will be Cherrydale Alpacas from Tattershall, and Alys Power Designs from Nottingham, whose quirky  jewellery re-purposes everyday items into unique pieces, stained glass work, or shabby chic furniture.

Each of the designers will have stalls, so it’s a great opportunity to treat loved ones or yourself. Admission is free, and doors open from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
