Broken jaw for man repeatedly punched in the head on the High Street

Arrested: A 28-year-old man was treated for a broken jaw as he was repeatedly punched in the head on the High Street.

A local man was treated for a broken jaw at the Lincoln County Hospital, after he was attacked by another man on the High Street and punched repeatedly in the head.

Police were called to the High Street at around 7.30Pm on Saturday, July 31, to attend the 28-year-old victim. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicions of grievous bodily harm in connection to this case.

The suspect was questioned by officers, and was released on bail, pending further enquiries until September 11.
