A new NHS dentist in Lincoln will be officially opened on September 15, and promises a “new kind of dental service”, with better options for patients.
Lincoln Dental Care on 472 Newark Road opened its doors on June 1, and offered patients better flexibility and choice, such as long opening hours seven days a week.
Local GP and Professional Executive Committee member for NHS Lincolnshire Dr Hindocha will be cutting the ribbon at the opening event on Wednesday afternoon.
Company director for Lincoln Dental Care Zafran Majid said: “This event is a great opportunity for members of the public to visit our practice, have a look around, meet the staff and ask any questions about the care and treatment we offer.
“Families are welcome on the day. We still have space to take on more patients so people will have the chance to register with us on the day.”
Head of contracting for NHS Lincolnshire Di Pegg said: “NHS Lincolnshire is committed to improving dental care for people living in the county.
“The contract we recently awarded to Lincoln Dental Care has meant that more patients have been able to register with an NHS dentist and make the most of appointment times at evenings and weekends.”
