Fatboy Slim to hold DJ set at Engine Shed

Fat beats: Massive DJ Fatboy Slim will be visiting the Engine Shed for a special DJ set in late October.

World-renowned DJ Fatboy Slim will be doing a DJ set at Lincoln’s Engine Shed as part of club night MODA‘s birthday on October 29.

Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, is known for tracks such as Praise You, Right Here, Right Now, Star 69 / Weapon of Choice and Slash Dot Dash to name but a few.

As well as Fatboy Slim, he was also part of Beats International and Freak Power. He currently performs as Brighton Port Authority.

He has also won thirteen different awards, including an Ivor Novello Award and nine different MTV awards.

Under all his aliases, Cook has released seven studio albums, four EPs and four live albums, releasing a total of 37 singles off each.

MODA is a club night that first formed in 2006 and is headed by resident DJs Jaymo and Andy George, Tom Staar, B-xcentric and Craig Duranti.

They have hosted all kinds of names, including Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Little Boots, Klaxons and Clavin Harris.

Tickets to the set cost £15 in advance, £18 on the door and £20 VIP. The sets begin at 10pm and is strictly over 18s only.
