Man assaulted for no reason

No description: A man was assaulted in Lincoln as he was walking down the street for apparently no reason.

A 44-year-old man was assaulted in Lincoln on October 27 as he was walking down the street for apparently no reason.

This incident took place at around 11.30am in Skellingthorpe Road, near the junction of Birchwood Avenue as the man was approached by the offender and assaulted.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and treated for minor injuries, and the offender got into a white van and drove off.

There is no description for the offender. Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
