Man threatens Tesco guard with screwdriver

Attack threat: Police are seeking a man who allegedly threatened a Tesco guard with a screwdriver.

Police are seeking a man who allegedly threatened to attack a supermarket guard in Lincoln with a screwdriver on October 15.

The man was going out of Tesco on Wragby Road at around 10.50pm, when a security guard asked him to return to the store for an undisclosed reason.

He then returned and allegedly threatened the guard with a screwdriver. The incident was caught on the store’s CCTV (pictured right).

The man is described as about 5’10” tall, was wearing a blue jacket and dark coloured trousers and trainers, in his late 30s to early 40s, and a medium build.

Police are asking anyone with information about this man, or the incident, to contact PC Steve Parker at Lincolnshire Police on 0300 111 0300.
