A taste of Lincolnshire for Christmas

Lincoln taster: A fair will showcase the country’s finest foods at the Lincolnshire Showground in the run up to Christmas.

There will be plenty of Christmas cheer to go round after a visit to Lincolnshire Showground’s Tastes of Lincolnshire Christmas Food and Drink Fair.

The fair will be held in the Epic Centre on November 27 to 28, with 100 stalls offering various types of food from across the world, ideal for festive dining.

There will be cooking demonstrations and samples to try, as well as food such as the Lincolnshire sausage, Plum Bread and various wines and beers.

The Council’s Love Food, Hate Waste campaign will be there, with celebrity chef Rachel Green showing audiences how to save £50 a month using leftover food.

Lydia Rusling from Tastes of Lincolnshire said: “This county has so much to offer, and is well-known for its great food, so come along and put some real flavour into your Christmas.

“This year we have partnered with the Lincolnshire Events Centre and The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, and we are all excited about making this Christmas Food Fair the best one ever.”

Doors open at 10am and entry starts at £4. There is also ample free parking on site.
