Auction to raise money for children’s ward

Fundraiser: Staff at the hospital will hold an auction to raise money for the children’s department.

Staff at Lincoln County Hospital’s children department are holding an auction fundraiser to help parents and their sick children.

The auction was organised by freelance fundraiser Teresa Brumpton with the help of staff, taking place on November 9.

John Marshall of Lincs FM will be playing the part of auctioneer at the event.

There will be an array of things to win, from golfing days out or a signed limited edition RAF poster, to bungee jumping and police driver training.

There is also a £50 Ask voucher prize for the person who makes the most bids on the day. If there is a tie, names will go into a hat.

Senior Sister in the children’s department Carol Gannon said: “Please come along and show your support for your local children’s department.

“All proceeds will go towards buying toys and games for the children to enjoy.

“Christmas is just around the corner and there are so many great items and experiences on offer. Everyone is welcome.”

The event starts at 2.30pm and will be held in the hospital’s restaurant.
