Theatre Royal gets some love

That’s Love: A comedy performance kickstarts the Theatre Royal’s new year schedule after the festive season.

Lincoln Theatre Royal is beginning the new year with a feel-good comedy this month.

On January 21 and 22, Ian Dickens Productions will perform That’s Love, a humorous play looking at various aspects of love through a person’s life.

The play focuses on three characters from a 1970’s band The Frank Daniels Trio.

The band’s singer, Sarah, often found herself in the middle of her husband and manager Frank and third band member, Tony.

Now older, the members look back on their time in the band and at the relationships with each other. At the end of the play, Sarah reaches an important decision.

Starring Eastenders’ Leslie Grantham (aka Dirty Den), Allo Allo‘s Vicki Michelle (pictured) and Glyn Grain and Nicola Weeks, the play provides plenty of song, dance, comedy and romance.

Tickets cost £18.50 and can be bought at the Theatre Royal’s Box Office.
