House intruder arrested for burglary

Intruder: A woman who heard banging noises on Wednesday morning was shocked to find out a burglar was lurking in her house.

A Lincoln woman who heard banging noises in her house on Wednesday morning was shocked to find out a burglar lurking in her house.

Police say they received a call from a distressed resident in Mcinnes Street, off Monks Road, Lincoln, at around 6am on February 23.

The caller had heard banging noises in her house and suspected an intruder was in the house.

Officers attended the scene and arrested a 31-year-old local man on suspicion of attempted burglary.

He is currently being questioned by detectives at Lincoln Police station.
