Scouting for Girls visit city for Co-Op concert

Birthday bash: Scouting for Girls and Lulu are coming to Lincoln to perform at Co-Op’s 150th birthday bash.

Pop band Scouting for Girls are set to perform at the Lincolnshire Showground on September 3.

The gig is part of Lincolnshire Co-operative’s celebration of 150 years of trading.

Singer Lulu will also perform at the event, which will include a fun fair, food stalls and a vintage car display, followed by a music and fireworks display.

Lincolnshire Co-operative’s Membership and Community Manager Sam Turner said: “We couldn’t let our special anniversary go by without celebrating.

“We wanted to get some special stars to help make the event really memorable, so we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Scouting for Girls and Lulu and friends will be performing.

“Both acts have really unique, feel-good styles of music, which are perfect for a summer concert.

Tickets prices start at £33.50 and go on sale on April 1, available from all 72 Lincolnshire Co-operative food and home stores, or online.
