Men arrested on suspicion of pub thefts

Pub thieves : Three locals have been arrested on suspicion of burgling two pubs and a food shop.

Police in Lincoln have arrested three local men on suspicion of multiple burglaries.

Officers were called to the Victory pub on Boultham Park Road, Lincoln in the early hours of April 11.

Reports said that offenders had broken in and stolen cash from games machines.

Police managed to arrest two 28-year-old men and a 37-year-old man on suspicion of the burglary.

Detectives at Lincoln Police Station are questioning the men for the offence plus a burglary at Doddington Hall farm shop and the Black Swan pub in Birchwood on the same night.
