In pictures: Lincoln’s derelict buildings

Forgotten: A look in pictures at 12 historic buildings in Lincoln that were forgotten by time.

Historic buildings are sometimes left vacant for long periods, leading to deterioration due to lack of maintenance, and twelve Lincoln buildings are currently at risk, according to City of Lincoln Council.

The list includes a “ruined medieval building” in Temple gardens, by the Usher Gallery, the 12-century St Mary’s Guildhall on the High Street, and a couple of old telephone kiosks on Lindum Road.
