Ask chain to undergo refit and name change

New persona: Ask restaurants across the country will be getting a refurbishment and name change this summer.

Work has started on a transformation for Italian restaurant Ask, situated along Brayford Wharf North.

The restaurant, which is situated between Italian eateries Prezzo and Zizzi, will take on a traditional Milan theme and the name will change to Ask Italian.

The two-week renovation, which is set for completion on July 12, will see the restaurant completely redecorated.

The change is part of a remodelling scheme that operating company Gondola is applying to all its chains — it also owns Zizzi and Pizza Express.

On the new opening night, customers will enjoy a free glass of wine and canapes as well as being entered into a raffle to win a meal for two.

Ask Assistant Manager Adam Campbell said: “At Ask we strive to give our customers an experience they will enjoy and remember for a long time.

“Ask Italian will bring you a whole new look which is based on the style and design of Milan amd a whole new menu, full of fresh, authentic Italian dishes.

“This along side our fabulous, newly trained and knowledgable staff will help give our customers that true Italian experience full of warmth and friendliness.”
