Lucy Tower car park reopens after resurfacing

Improvements: Lucy Tower multi-storey car park reopens after six weeks of resurfacing works.

Lucy Tower Car Park in Lincoln reopens on Tuesday, November 1, after six weeks of part closure.

Essential resurfacing work took place on floors seven to 12 of the car park as part of the City of Lincoln Council’s car park maintenance programme.

The top floors were resurfaced first so the car park could reopen in time for the Christmas shopping period.

The first six floors will be resurfaced in March 2012 in the next phase of maintenance.

Rod Williamson, City Services Team Leader at the City of Lincoln Council, said: “We would like to thank our car park customers for their patience while this essential work has been done, and hope those parking on the upper floors of Lucy Tower will notice the improvements.”
