College moves training team to Pelham Centre

New facility: Lincoln College have moved its employer training facilities to a new building in the city.

Lincoln College is moving its Business Development Centre and Employer Engagement team to new offices in the Pelham Centre.

The college has moved the team into the offices and training rooms on Canwick Road to bring it under one roof and provide more opportunities.

Staff will now be on hand to help support more employers with training solutions, such as apprenticeships for all ages, NVQs and commercial training programmes.

The move signifies part of the college’s aim to improve opportunities for Lincolnshire employers and employees, providing more choice and therefore boosting the economy.

Leader of the new developments, Gordon Gillespie, said: “We are delighted to bring services to business under one roof, operating as this will in the heart of the business world in Lincolnshire.

“We believe this exciting new division of Lincoln College will help local companies develop new markets and have a real impact on the local economy for years to come.

“Co-location will provide a truly single point of contact, a complete one-stop shop where employers can get information, advice and guidance on the most economical way to obtain training for their employees that supports their business needs.

“This service will be there for employers and at the heart of Lincolnshire’s training solutions.”

The lease of the new offices is being dealt with by Hodgson Elkington LLP, on behalf of Howtin Investments, owners of the Pelham Centre.
