Technology company builds new hub

Expanding: A high-tech company will be relocating in the south of the city and building its own premises.

A local technology company will be moving to Saddler Road after purchasing a site to build its new headquarters on.

Linwave Technology and Microwave Marketing purchased the 1.5 acre land to help expand their high technology design and manufacturing business.

As well as the land that will be built on, additional land has also been retained for further expansion if the joint company needs it.

Stirlin Developments and LK2 Architects are delivering the design and build contract for the project.

Group CEO Chris Carr said: “The site forms a key part of our growth strategy, supporting our high calibre staff with first rate Design Labs and manufacturing clean room facilities, whislt expanding our capability to handle larger projects as we grow.

“It’s a great reward for the whole team that have continued to absorb the demands of expanding customer needs with great drive and enthusiasm.”

Microwave Design and Manufacturing operations expanded under Linwave Technology from six members of staff in 2003 to 45, and still expanding.
