Lincoln church damaged by vandals

Vandalised church: United Reformed Church in the Ermine was hit by vandals, causing damage of around £10,000.

Lincolnshire Police are investigating a vandalism incident last month at a Lincoln church, which caused damage of around £10,000.

Vandals caused extensive damage to the United Reformed Church on Sudbrooke Drive, Ermine East, when they got in on November 8 between 6.45am and 7.30pm.

They went into the storeroom, took out a tin of paint and poured it over the floor, carpet and the organ. The offenders also tore pages from the bible.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch and help them with their enquiries into this case.
