Two arrests over Grantham Street violence

Violence arrests: Young man in hospital with facial injuries as officers arrest two 19-year-olds.

Lincolnshire Police arrested two men in connection with a violent incident in Lincoln overnight on Tuesday, December 6.

Officers attended a fight on Grantham Street at around 1.15am, when a 23-year-old Lincoln man was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and treated for facial injuries.

The injured man is not in a life-threatening condition. It is believed at this stage that the injuries may have been caused by being punched and kicked.

Two 19-year-old local men were arrested in connection with the incident a short time later. They are currently helping police with their enquiries.
