Children at Lincoln County Hospital were entertained by a charity panto.

The Rainforest Ward hosted on January 11 Starlight Children’s Foundation‘s story of Aladdin, performed by the theatre group The Panto Company.

The performance is part of the Starlight Christmas of Happiness in which the pantomime will visit 100 hospitals and hospices over eight weeks.

Sarah Sleaford, mum of Ian who watched the performance, said: “Ian really enjoyed the panto and enjoyed joining in.”

Carol Blakeborough, Play Specialist at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “The interactive performance was great for the children on the ward to watch.

“The story of Aladdin was familiar to a lot of the children, so they enjoyed the pantomime.”
