Local people wanted for satirical feature film

Actors wanted: An award-winning Lincoln film company needs local actors for its first feature length film.

Blueprint Film is looking for local people of all ages and experience to take part in its newest film, Vigilante.

Vigilante is the Lincoln company’s first feature-length film, which will be shot mainly around Lincolnshire.

However, Blueprint are looking for different types of actors, actresses and extras for all kinds of parts before filming begins in March.

The award-winning company also wants to help unearth local talent who might not have had the opportunity to act in the past.

Film director Darren Bolton said: “Vigilante is a dark, satirical film that deals with the issues of justice, morality and punishment.

“Exploring the question of ‘How far Is too far?’ the film is primarily a character piece, looking at a man who has found his place within the community – the local hero; who desperately attempts to keep his place as things start to break down.

“It is very exciting to be embarking on our first feature film and I can’t wait to get started.”

Those selected for parts in the film will get the chance to act alongside actors such as Simon Cassidy, known for his roles in Emmerdale and Heartbeat.

Producer Emily Bignell said: “We are really excited about the opportunities this film will bring to Lincolnshire and the community, as it’s not very often this sort of thing occurs in the area.

“We can’t wait to meet people in the local community who are as passionate about film as we are.”

To apply for a part, visit Blueprint Film’s website and fill out an application form.

Auditions will then be held from March 10 at the LPAC, with extra dates for those who cannot attend the preliminary dates.
