An estate agent has expanded business by moving his firm to Lincoln, creating up to 15 jobs in the next year in the city.

Sean Mayers runs his business, four-year-old Northwood Estate Agents, in Doncaster, but believes Lincolnshire’s letting and sales has a lot of potential.

The new estate agents will operate from a unit on Silver Street in the city centre, where many Lincoln-based agencies and financial services businesses are situated.

The property was let to Mayers by Banks Long & Co.

Mayers said: “We offer traditional estate agency services but we also specialise in guaranteed lettings, whereby we guarantee to pay a landlord his rent irrespective of whether or not he has a tenant in his premises.

“Northwood currently offers this service to 9,000 landlords across the UK.”
