Child injured by van in Skellingthorpe

Child injured: Police are appealing for witnesses after a child was injured by a van in Skellingthorpe on Thursday.

A nine-year-old boy is being treated in hospital for a head injury after he was was hit by a van in Skellingthorpe on Thursday, March 29.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident which took place at around 4.30pm on Lincoln Road.

A nine-year-old local boy was hit by a white Vauxhall Vivaro van. He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and treated for a head injury.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 352 of March 29.
