Police hunt for more bike thieves

Bike theft: Police are on the look out for two bike thieves after they stole a bicycle worth £570 in the city.

Police are asking residents if they recognise two offenders caught on CCTV stealing a bike in Lincoln.

The incident happened on February 27 at around 1.40pm on Station Street, Lincoln.

The offenders took a white women’s mountain bike, worth about £570, by cutting the lock with bolt croppers.

Some members of the public challenged the men, but they still went on to steal the bike.

Anyone with information should call 101 and ask for PC 1293 Roberts, in relation to Incident 199 of February 27, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
