Police appeal over serious Washingborough Rd crash

Three injured: Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a serious road traffic collision in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police are seeking witnesses of a serious crash in Lincoln, in which two teenagers and a man were injured and taken to hospital.

The incident took place at around 9.50pm on Wednesday, March 28 on the B1190 Washingborough Road, when a blue Citroen collided with a white VW Caddy van.

The driver and passenger of the Citroen, a 17-year-old local girl and a 14-year-old local girl, along with the driver of the van, a 27-year-old local man, were all taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment.

The 17-year-old girl has serious abdominal and arm injuries, although these are not thought to be life threatening. The 14-year-old girl had a broken foot and wrist.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 563 of March 28.
