University of Lincoln goes up in online rankings

The University of Lincoln has climbed 14 places in the Complete University Guide to the 53rd spot out of 116 institutions.

The online guide combined data for nine areas, including student satisfaction, research assessment, entry standards, facilities spend and graduate prospects.

Lincoln is the only university to have improved its ranking in the guide every year since it was first published in 2007.

Overall, it has climbed 56 places, the highest of all universities.

Chris Spendlove, Registrar at the University of Lincoln, said: “We are committed to ensuring that our students have the best experience possible during their time with us.

“We aim to equip our graduates with knowledge and skills that will form the solid foundations of their careers and enable them to make a difference to society.”

Dr Bernard Kingston, principal author of the guide said: “The Complete University Guide allows would-be students to adapt the main table to their needs and explore the listings for individual subjects without charge and with confidence that the information is up to date and accurate.”
