Lincoln is playing its role in the Olympics this summer — When athletes get injured during this summer’s London Olympics it could be a Lincoln radiographer who patches them up.
Myriam Jackson, an Advance Practitioner Reporting Radiographer at Lincoln County Hospital, will be among a team of medics who could be called into action to help stranded competitors.
Myriam said: “My role will include all forms of first responding including carrying out first aid, triage, basic life support and intermediate life support and support of any other medical emergency that occurs to spectators or athletes.”

12.13
After the relay, the final torchbearer will light the Cauldron at the Olympic stadium, marking the start of the Games. The flame is not put out until the Closing Ceremony, and signifies the end of the games.

From Lincolnshire Police: Do not to call the non-emergency 101 number for Olympic Torch route and timing details.
The non-emergency number is experiencing a large number of calls on this issue and this is potentially increasing the time it takes to answer calls relating to important day-to-day policing matters.
