In pictures: Lincoln Castle Festival of History

Thousands of visitors went back in time at Lincoln Castle on the August 4-5 weekend for the Festival of History.

People enjoyed a variety of civilian and military demonstrations which reflected Lincoln’s ancient and modern history, including Romans, Vikings and re-enactments from World War II.
