Quality care award for Lincoln medical practice

Great patient care: A medical practice in Birchwood has been awarded a top award for it’s high quality treatment of patients.

A Lincoln medical practice has been awarded the Quality Practice Award by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

The special award was given to Woodland Medical Practice on Jasmine Road, Birchwood, after every member of the team proved they delivered high quality care to patients.

The assessment of the team lasted 18 months, which involved a day-long visit from the RCGP panel and a portfolio of evidence from the practice.

Dr Keith Bailey said: “We are delighted to receive this nationally recognised award, all staff at the practice should be extremely proud of their hard work and commitment to providing excellent services to our patients and achieving this award.

“A special thank you to our Practice Manager Allison Ellis who joined the team half way though the process but was key in helping us achieve the award.”
