Police appeal: Three takeaways in Waddington near Lincoln have been burgled in one night.

Three takeaways in Waddington near Lincoln have been burgled in one night.

The commercial burglaries took place on Bar Lane in Waddington overnight between Monday, November 26 and Tuesday, November 27.

The Waddington Fish Bar, the Pizza Box and the Palki Indian take-away were all burgled and had their tills stolen.

It is believed that two offenders entered the three premises during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Entry was gained to the Palki via a side window, and to the Pizza Box by forcing a panel on the door.

The offenders went from there through to the Fish Bar via an internal door linking the two.

The Palki was broken into at 4am and the Fish Bar at 4.36am, so the offenders were at the scene and in the area for some time.

Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area during the early hours of the morning on Tuesday is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 35 of November 27.
