Hit and run: A 14-year-old boy has been treated for injuries in hospital after he was knocked off his bike by a driver in Lincoln.

A 14-year-old boy has been treated for injuries in hospital after he was knocked off his bike in Lincoln.

At around 8am on Thursday morning, the boy was biking to school along Longdales Road when he was knocked off by a driver.

The boy was taken by ambulance to Lincoln County Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.

Lincolnshire Police are now appealing to any witnesses to the incident and to the driver of the vehicle involved to come forward.

Anyone with information should call 101 with incident reference number 80 of January 10.
