Lincoln hairdressers owner expands to Newark

New store, new venture: A Lincoln businesswoman is expanding into beauty by opening a shop in Newark.

The owner of a hairdressers in Lincoln is expanding her business into beauty by opening a tanning salon in Newark.

Mandy Marshall currently owns Cream Hairstyling on Outer Circle Road in Lincoln, but despite only opening a year ago, she’s keen to expand further.

Her Newark business Fastan, at the bridge on Lincoln Road, will offer spray tanning, sunbeds, and nail care, plus treatments such as teeth whitening, wrinkle reduction and filler injections.

Langleys Solicitors LLP helped Marshall arrange the new lease for the shop.

Mandy said: “I went looking for the best staff I could find, including one of the country’s best specialist aesthetic nurse practitioners.

“Langleys were incredibly professional when dealing with the lease for my first shop and so I had no reservations in enlisting their help for this project.

“I knew I wanted to expand the business into sunbeds and after I saw the premises at the Bridge I knew that was the right place for Fastan.

“Since opening at the end of November, I’m pleased to say we’ve had a successful period with plenty of bookings for the coming weeks.”

Langleys’ Amy Cowdell, who oversaw the deal, said: “It’s great to see a local business doing this well in the current climate.

“Working with Mandy to secure her second business premises has been a good project to work on and we wish Mandy further success in 2013.”
