Man recovering after he was hit by car on Monks Road

Police appeal: A 41-year-old Lincoln man is in a stable condition recovering from injuries suffered when he was hit by a car in the city.

A 41-year-old Lincoln man is in a stable condition recovering from injuries suffered when he was hit by a car in the city.

The incident happened at around 7.40pm on Thursday, January 10 at the junction between Monks Way and Monks Road in Lincoln.

A green Renault Clio collided with a 41-year-old local man.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and later transferred to the Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield for treatment for a head injury. He is in a stable condition.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to get in touch as soon as possible.
