Man wounded in late night incident on Firth Road

Wounded man: A man sustained a puncture wound to his abdomen and was treated for his injuries in hospital after an incident in the early hours of Sunday.

A 30-year-old man sustained a puncture wound to his abdomen, and was treated for his injuries in hospital, after an incident in Lincoln in the early hours of Sunday.

The incident happened between 1am and 2.30am on February 10 on Firth Road, near Argos and The Ritz pub.

The puncture wound to the man’s abdomen is believed to have been caused by a small implement.

He was treated at Lincoln County Hospital, but his injuries were not life threatening.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for anyone who was in the area on Sunday to come forward.

Anyone who witnessed an incident in the area at that time, or who has any information, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 88 of February 10.
