New local NHS finance director appointed

New finance boss: Karen Berry is the new person in charge of balancing Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trusts’ books.

Karen Berry is the new person in charge of balancing Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trusts’ books, after she was appointed as the Trust’s new Executive Director of Finance last week.

Karen has been supporting as interim Acting Director of Finance for several weeks already, and joined the Trust from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust where she was Head of Finance.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining the trust on a permanent basis at such an exciting time. Maintaining financial performance in these extremely challenging times will require substantial business skills.

“However, I am confident that my new team and I will be able to support the Trust in this respect and I look forward to working with them and counterparts from our health and social care partners across our health communities.”

Karen, aged 50, began her NHS career in 1990 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist health and social care services for people with a learning disabilities, mental health issues, and drug or alcohol problems.
