Shop robbery: Three local men have been arrested on suspicion of carrying out a robbery at a Lincolnshire Co-operative store in Lincoln earlier this month.

Three local men have been arrested on suspicion of carrying out a robbery at a Lincolnshire Co-operative store in Lincoln earlier this month.

Lincolnshire Police arrested a 21-year-old local man, a 22-year-old local man and a 23-year-old local man on suspicion of robbing the shop on Queen Elizabeth Road, Ermine East, on February 8.

As previously reported, staff were threatened with a weapon and cash was stolen. No-one was injured during the incident but the staff were shocked by the experience.

The suspects have been released on police bail pending further enquiries, until dates in March and April.
