The first ever Onlincolnshire digital conference was held in Lincoln at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Wednesday, March 13.

The event was organised by Lincolnshire County Council to promote better online connectivity in the county, for residents and businesses.

More than 15 local businesses showcased their digital skills for almost 200 attendees at the conference.

Several keynote speakers also talked about making a difference with digital technology, including Rob Wilmot, Co Founder of Freeserve and Trefor Davies from Timico.

At the conference, Lincolnshire County Council announced it has signed a £48 million public and private sector money contract with BT to provide superfast broadband infrastructure to almost 90% of county properties by 2016.
