School milk supplier Cool Milk, based on Kingsley Park in Lincoln, managed to raise £248.10 for Comic Relief on Friday. -
Cool Milk staff were encouraged to come to work wearing 80s style clothes as it was 25 years since the first Red Nose Day in 1988 and anyone not wearing at least a bangle, headband or a pair of leg warmers had to pay a £1 fine. -

Plenty of businesses, schools and individuals in Lincoln donned their red noses and best red-themed outfits in aid of Red Nose Day on Friday.
Red Nose Day is a charity event by Comic Relief for those in need across the UK and Africa. As well as wearing a themed red nose, participants are encouraged to do “something funny for money”.
In Lincoln, key figures had a big bake off, while the Drill Hall hosted a variety of music and poetry for the afternoon.
Old Station Nursery put on a host of activities for the children to enjoy, while schools in the city organised their events too.
