Unhurt, but shaken: Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a young girl’s handbag has been snatched by a man in Lincoln at the weekend.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a young girl’s handbag has been snatched by a man in Lincoln at the weekend.

The incident took place on West Parade at 7.30pm on Sunday, March 17.

A 16 year-old female was walking along the road towards the junction with Gresham Street and Newland Street West, when a male ran past her and snatched her handbag. The victim was shaken but unhurt.

The handbag was a black quilted design with a silver chain strap and contained makeup and a Samsung mobile phone.
