Criminal damage: Fences, trees and handrails have been damaged at Hartsholme Park in Lincoln over the last month.

Police are investigating several cases of criminal damage after fences, trees and handrails have been damaged at Hartsholme Park in Lincoln over the last month.

The latest incident was reported on April 16 and involved a handrail on the bridge near the visitor centre being forced off, causing around £1,000 worth of damage.

Over the last few weeks fences and a tree have also been set on fire, causing a further £900 of damage.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone who has any information on those responsible to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
