Lincolnshire goes to the polls on May 2, when all 77 seats at the County Council are up for elections, and 307 candidates are on the ballots across the county.
The Lincolnite has created an interactive map to help you find your local elections candidates and explore the current makeup of Lincolnshire County Council.
You simply enter your postcode or click on your district division to see your candidates, and find out more about them.[button url=”http://thelincolnite.co.uk/elections/” title=”Lincolnite Elections Map”]Find your local candidates[/button]
Lincolnshire County Council is currently controlled by Conservatives with 61 seats, 6 Independents, 5 Labour, 4 Liberal Democrats, and 1 vacancy.
In Lincoln, there are 10 county councillor seats up for grabs, and you can find here a list of candidates from each ward.
Elections for the County Council are held every four years, unlike the City of Lincoln Council elections, which are held yearly, except when there are county local elections.
Visit www.thelincolnite.co.uk/elections on May 2 from 10pm for live coverage of the elections results from across Lincolnshire.
Special thanks to Alex Bilbie for helping with creating the interactive module.
