Man arrested after Lincoln Gateway Park hit and run

Pedestrian injured: Police arrested a local driver in relation to at hit an run incident in Lincoln, which left a 37-year-old man with serious injuries.

A 38-year-old man is being treated in hospital for injuries sustained after a hit and run incident at a commercial park in Lincoln.

Emergency services were called to Gateway Park in South Hykeham, Lincoln at around 5pm on Friday, following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 37-year-old male, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

Update on April 13: Lincolnshire Police arrested a 41-year-old local man in relation to the incident.

The entrance to Gateway Park was closed for emergency services to deal with the scene following the incident on Friday.
