Only 300 places left for Lincoln 10k race

Race looms: If you’ve still not signed up for the Lincoln 10k race, you’re running out of spaces and time to enter.

If you’re considering entering the Lincoln 10k Road Race 2013 this weekend, there are only 300 places out of 5,500 left.

Additionally, the final deadline for entries to the Active Nation 10k is 4.30pm on Thursday, April 4.

This includes entries to the school races on Saturday, April 6, or the wheelchair or 10k event on Sunday, April 7.

Saturday’s events, the Direct Textiles primary school race and the Running Imp secondary school race, are free to enter, while the 10k costs £19 (£17 for those affiliated with an athletics club).

The route for the 10k will be the same as last year, starting on Riseholme Road. Children’s events begin at Yarborough Leisure Centre.

Both of Saturday’s races start and finish at Yarborough Leisure Centre and are free to enter.

Every runner receives a special medal at the end of the race to celebrate their achievement.
