Age UK Lincoln’s Park Street centre celebrates 55 years

Staff and people from the Age UK Park Street activity centre in Lincoln came together to celebrate the centre’s 55th anniversary on Friday, June 7.

The newly appointed Mayor of Lincoln, Patrick Vaughan and Mayoress Lorna Stow joined in the celebrations and attended the three-course, traditional roast beef lunch, freshly prepared and served at the centre. Entertainment included a ’55 Years Ago’ quiz, an Abba tribute act, a raffle and dancing.

Work will also start on a £700,000 revamp of the activity centre with a three-storey extension.
