Top to Toe Vintage at Lincolnshire Showground

Charity vintage event: Vintage event at Lincolnshire Showground raised money and clothes donations for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.

With an emphasis on ‘up-cycling’, St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice hosted Top to Toe Vintage with Swap Shop and offered a unique shopping and makeover experience.

Guests enjoyed performances by wartime tribute singer Heather Marie, who brought to life songs from the 1940s and 50s.

Stalls included vintage makeovers by The Strand hairdressers, homemade jewellery and accessories by Cute as a Button and a range of dated books, home-ware and fashions.

The event was held on September 12 at Lincolnshire Showground.

The clothing donations made and swapped were abundant and collections left over will be available from the St Barnabas shop on Lincoln High Street.

Among the local business owners showcasing at the event was Ego owner Sam Horsted/Bennett. At the shop on The Strait, in Lincoln city centre, Sam sells a range of reworked vintage and new quirky trends.
