Cash stolen in armed robbery at Lincoln booze shop

Armed robbery: Police are looking for two offenders after an armed robbery at a Lincoln shop.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information and witnesses after an armed robbery at a shop in Lincoln.

This incident happened at around 5.50pm at Bargain Booze in Larchwood Crescent, Lincoln, on October 24.

It is believed two offenders were involved. One entered the shop, then threatened staff with a hammer and left with a quantity of cash.

He is described as a white man in his late teens. He was around 5 foot 9, of medium build and wearing a balaclava and a grey top.

The other man, who waited outside the shop during the incident, is described as a white man of slim build, with cropped dark hair. He was wearing a bright blue jacket.

No-one was hurt during the robbery. The offenders fled in the direction of Larchwood Crescent and the junction with Firtree Avenue.

Police are looking for witnesses, or anyone with any information on this incident to get in touch with them as soon as possible by calling 101 and asking for DS Cunningham or DC Brooks, quoting incident number 316 of October 24.
