Lincoln fatal bus crash woman is named

Fatal crash: The woman who died after she was hit by a bus in Lincoln has been formally named by police.

The Latvian woman who died after she was hit by a bus in Lincoln has been formally named by police as Arianda Samuilova.

The 36-year-old woman lived on Ripon Street in Lincoln.

She died on November 22 after she was hit by a bus at around 12.40pm on the High Street, between Anchor Street and Firth Road, outside the Anchor pub.

She was taken to hospital with serious head trauma, but later died from the injuries sustained.

No passengers on the bus were injured.

The woman’s next of kin have been informed. An inquest into the incident is due to be opened and adjourned on Thursday.
