Lincoln artist Elliott Morris releases new single and EP

New music: Lincoln folk act Elliott Morris has released a new EP, plus an acoustic video of his upcoming single.

Elliott Morris, a well-known unsigned music artist in the Lincoln area, has released a new EP and new single — and with it, the acoustic version of the track.

His new single Eyes, to be released on December 2, will be the first track taken from the EP Shadows and Whispers, which is available now.

The acoustic version of the song will be released as a B-side to the single, and the video for it was filmed in London by Christopher Bingham and Jon Barker.

Elliott Morris said: “Eyes is the first track on my new EP which has just come out!

“The song is really about living life to the full, about taking risks and not over thinking things – something I sometimes find myself doing.

“It features Gemma Telfer from folk band Gria on accordion and Kat Hurdley from The QP on fiddle, as well as my brother Bevan on bass and drums.

“The EP was recorded and mixed between May and August and contains two original songs and two arrangements of traditional material.”

Shadows and Whispers is available to download on iTunes now.
