Lincoln Stoneacre Volvo dealership expands business

Business expansion: A car dealership has employed more staff and seen higher customer demand after opening its revamped showroom.

A Volvo dealership in Lincoln has opened its new £1.1 million showroom and is already seeing an improvement in sales.

Stoneacre Volvo off Kingsley Road is looking to employ 20 new members of staff due to the rise in demand of customers in the area.

Steven Morris, Dealer Principal of Stoneacre Volvo in Lincoln, said: “The new showroom signifies a £1.1 million investment in the Lincoln site.

“It was highlighted as a dealership with untapped potential by head office and it has been an incredible journey for my team to see the business grow at such a fast pace.

“For the past nine months we have been gearing up for this launch and business growth. Earlier in the year we employed 17 people, now we are up to 31 with the potential to increase more in the future.

“Volvo is an emerging brand for commercial and retail customers. The investment will allow us to present the brand and provide an enhanced experience for our customers.”

He added: “Volvo has developed a very strong product line with a new range of low Co2 engines starting at 88g/km.

“This along with the launch of our new Volvo V40 Hatchback really has improved our sales to the local business market.”
